We are thrilled to share that Springboard recently received a generous grant from The Hospital Saturday Fund. Our ambassador, Sonya Cassidy, and one of our fantastic trustees, Anthony attended the charity reception at the University of Plymouth, connecting with other local charities and celebrating this incredible support.
A special thank you goes to Sonya for delivering another insightful and engaging speech, and for her ongoing dedication to championing Springboard’s work.
Importantly, this funding will help more children in our SEND Early Years sessions access specialist Speech and Language Therapy. For many of our children, even a few sessions of targeted support can make a huge difference — giving them the confidence to communicate their needs, engage with friends and family, and participate more fully in play and learning activities.
Early intervention like this is transformative. It helps children develop vital communication skills, builds confidence, and opens doors to everyday learning and social experiences that many of us can take for granted.
