We have chosen to support Springboard as they provide outstanding resources for families in the local area. With our UK office being based in Clevedon, this is a charity close to the hearts of many of our employees. We hope that through our support, Springboard can continue to provide a safe and secure place where children with disabilities are able to learn and flourish.
Small Business Sales Academy
James is the Founder of the Small Business Sales Academy and has been a sales mentor and trainer for 30 plus years. In 2021, James did the David Goggins 4*4*48 challenge and wanted to support some local charities who had suffered from the impact of Covid. He got to find out about the great work that Springboard do to support children with additional needs and their families and was hooked by the team and their inspiring stories.
When we were asked to be a corporate supporter for springboard we wanted to take this opportunity to give back to the local community and help support a wonderful charity continue to support these incredible families.
The Small Business Sales Academy works with ambitious growing companies who sell high value services to other businesses. Put simply, our work allows them to convert more leads into sales and scale.
We provide insights into what might need adjusting within the current way of doing business and then offer the sales training, and mentoring that gets results.
How you may ask?
Firstly we review what the business is doing now and where the gaps in the process or way of working are. Where can improvements be made?
Secondly, we then provide the CEO’s and their teams with a new set of sales skills to build rapport, ask better questions become experts at reading the prospects they sell which allows them to close more deals.
Thirdly, we then ensure that these new skills and learnings can be replicated through the development of sales blueprints, resources and materials which ensure results get delivered consistently.
Our final job is to then mentor and support both the CEO and their teams to ensure the results are delivered and that new business is won.
This approach has allowed us to transform the business of a range of professional service companies many of who have seen their revenue double as a result of implementing the methods we know that work.
Are you the owner of a business that feels you are not winning as much business as you could and who wants to grow? If so, what have you got to lose from just having a chat?

“Since returning from Afghanistan I have wanted to give back to the community. A friend’s daughter attends Springboard and she told me about the good things that they do.
When I heard that they were looking for Corporate Supporters, it was something that I had been looking for, to be able to give back and help others. Being a firm believer of fate it came at the right time and was the right charity. Thank you for this opportunity to help.
We’re proud to be a Corporate Supporter of Springboard
“I have been fortunate enough to see first-hand the amazing work of Springboard in supporting local children with additional needs. It quickly became apparent to me how important their presence is to families across the North Somerset community, not only in helping children overcome their challenges, but in providing practical advice and support. As a medical lawyer, I see the difference that early support can make to children’s lives and for all these reasons, Irwin Mitchell is proud to support them in continuing their great work.”
