About us

Springboard Opportunity Group is a well-established charity.  A safe and secure place where children with disabilities are able to learn and flourish. Where different isn’t different and additional needs are not an additional burden, we provide support for families in challenging times.

We are a voluntary sector daycare provider in North Somerset, with our settings registered and inspected either Outstanding or Good by Ofsted. The charity is managed by a group of elected trustees.

Discovering your child has additional needs propels you into a world of unknowns and uncertainty. Springboard gave us the hope and confidence to get through it all.
Your expertise, patience and willingness to listen have enabled our son to thrive. You really have provided both him and our family with the best possible start.
We cannot imagine a better preschool for our daughter. The big smile on her face after each session says she had a great time and makes us sure she is in the best hands.
Springboard helped not only my brother, they helped my whole family learn how to look after him. We learnt Makaton, they made him PECs cards and routine boards. We all learnt about his sensory needs. He started being calm and happy at home. But the best thing was he learnt to play with me. If it wasn't for Springboard, I wouldn't have the brother have and love today.
The kick-start he got from his time at Springboard has been truly life changing. The staff helped us with his PECS communication, Makaton courses and any overwhelming paperwork we needed to fill in. I honestly do not know where he would be today without their early intervention.
Had it not been for Springboard I don't think my son would have had the early interventions with speech and language therapy, Portage service and much more. This was key as it turns out, my son has autism.
An amazing place that taught my son how to finally communicate and start to talk.
