As part of Volunteers’ Week 2026, we are proud to celebrate and thank the amazing individuals who give their time, skills, and energy to support Springboard Opportunity Group.
Our volunteers are vital to our organisation and their commitment makes a real difference every day, and quite simply, we couldn’t do what we do without them.
Volunteering at Springboard comes in many forms. Some volunteers spend time in our playrooms, supporting children as they learn, play, and develop. Others help to transform our spaces through painting, decorating, gardening, and practical projects that help keep our environments welcoming and engaging. Many also support our fundraising and community events, whether that’s baking delicious cakes, helping behind the scenes, or lending a hand to ensure activities run smoothly.
Every act of volunteering, no matter how big or small, contributes to the success of Springboard and the positive experiences we provide for children and families.
As we celebrate our 40th anniversary year, we are particularly mindful of all of the volunteers who have supported Springboard over the past four decades. Their generosity, dedication, and belief in our mission have helped shape the organisation we are today and enabled us to support countless children and families across our communities.
Volunteers bring so much more than practical support. They bring enthusiasm, compassion, creativity, and a genuine desire to make a difference. Their contribution helps create the welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment that Springboard is known for.
During Volunteers’ Week, and throughout the year, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to every volunteer who has supported Springboard. Whether you volunteer regularly, help occasionally, or have supported us at a single event, your contribution matters and is deeply appreciated.
