Thanks to you, Springboard has been selected to receive a £1,000 donation as part of Benefact Group’s annual 12 Days of Giving campaign – part of the Movement for Good Awards, which is giving over £1million away to charities and good causes. Members of the public were invited to nominate good causes and winners, including us, were drawn at random as part of a £120,000 giveaway.
The money will help us continue to support children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), aged 0-5, and their families across the area.
Ruth Glover, Springboard’s CEO said,“At Springboard, we see every day the impact a small charity can have — not just on a child’s development, but on an entire family’s wellbeing. Our strength lies in our close connection to the community, our specialist knowledge, and the trust families place in us. But we can’t do it alone and we need continued support to keep delivering the life-changing work our children and families rely on making donations such as this so incredibly important. We thank everyone that took the time to vote for us – thank you so very much”
Mark Hews, Group Chief Executive at Benefact Group, also said: “We would like to thank every single person who took the time to nominate a good cause in our annual 12 Days of Giving campaign
“Benefact Group is a family of award-winning specialist financial services companies. We’re owned by a charity, and giving back is at the heart of everything we do – all our available profits go to good causes. Our mission is simple: the more we grow, the more we can give.
“We’re delighted to be giving away another £120,000 in valuable donations to causes around the country. We know that charities across the country are struggling, and for many the festive season is a critical time. We know £1,000 can make a huge difference to the incredible work that charities do and we’re looking forward to seeing how this financial boost will change lives for the better.”
Movement for Good is funded by EIO plc, part of the Benefact Group.
