Springboard were excited to be part of the Big Give’s Christmas Challenge running between 2-9 December, where donations were matched at biggive.org. Our goal was to raise £20,000 to support our Family Support Service – a vital lifeline for parents and carers navigating the challenges of raising a child with SEND. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we didn’t just reach our target – we surpassed it, raising an amazing £21,154. We are truly humbled by the kindness, encouragement and personal reasons shared alongside so many of the donations.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to our Champion, Reed Educational Trust Limited and Pledge Partner, Bristol and Clifton Golf Club whose support made our Christmas Challenge campaign possible.
Ambassador and Actor Sonya Cassidy shared; “What a gift for Springboard to join this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge. The matching of donations had such an impact on this small charity with a huge heart and ever growing list of children they wish to support. Springboard’s place in the community is second to none, hence the demand for their specialist, brilliant work at a time when funding for SEND care is in crisis.”
Ruth Glover, Springboard’s CEO added “We are so grateful for the generosity of our community and the opportunity the Big Give Christmas Challenge provides. Your support strengthens our Family Support Service, ensuring parents and carers receive the guidance and reassurance they need. Together, we can make twice the difference for children who deserve the very best start in life.”
Thank you to everyone for your support and making double the difference to the children and families we support.
