Springboard Opportunity Group

As part of our Family Support Service our Training officer Grace Hewson, along with the Play staff and Family Support Workers, provides Family Support Workshops, including ' The Springboard Way' for all new parents and carers of children attending Springboard. The Springboard Way is an essential aspect of our family support services and our expectation is that the majority fo parents/carers will find time to attend as it should help you and your child.

These workshops offer the opportunity to discuss your child’s needs and to pick up ideas for activities and useful strategies.  Most importantly, you can chat with other parents who have had similar experiences.

The sessions last approximately 2 hours and are held while your child attends a Springboard session, or in the evening if this is more convenient.

• Early Communication
• Sleeping, Eating, Toileting
• Moving on to School
• Lets Play Together
• Communicating Through Symbols
• The Springboard Way
