- Jo White, who is Sally's daughter, and her friend Adam Fray are running in the first ever Weston Half Marathon on Sunday 23 September on behalf of Springboard. Jo has a Justgiving page so anyone can make a donation and so far they have raised a fantastic £162, but let's try and get them up to £200. Thanks to Jo and Adam, good luck and we can't wait to see the photos.
- Capita Symonds held a very successful Golf day in aid ofr Springboard on 13 September at the very beautiful Kendleshire Golf Club at Coalpit Heath. 29 teams took part, the weather was perfect and the golfers were charming and very interested in Springboard. Many thanks to Nick Knight and Teresa Osgood for their exemplary hosting and organisation. We will know the final figure that was raised very soon.
- Darren and Lisa Colecliffe, Springboard parents of Elijah and landlords of the Dundry Inn and have decided to encourage their guests to contribute, in order to help the charity support other families.
Darren said, "We are proud to announce our support for an amazing charity which is very close to our hearts. Starting this week, an optional 1% will be added to your bill, which will go directly towards Springboard Opportunity Group."
Jemma Cooper is Springboard's patron, and she and founder Ann Ramsey popped into the Dundry Inn to thank its hosts. Speaking on behalf of the charity, Jemma said, "This is a super way to raise money, and we are extremely grateful to Darren and Lisa for their support, and to all the guests at the Dundry Inn for their kind donations."

July 2012 - Local fundraisers have been having a very busy time of it lately, on Springboard's behalf. Recent donations and fundraising includes:
- Weston Lions - As part of the Go Kid's Go initiative with the Weston Mercury, we were awarded £250 for a small wooden bridge in the garden at Weston. The presentation took place at the Lion's Real Ale and Cider Festival on Weston Seafront and many other local organisations were also given special awards. Our thanks to the Lion's and Weston Mercury.
- Our collecting tins have been busy as well, with £30 from Cafe Rico in Weston and £30 from Warren Farm Shop, Brean Holiday Park. Both are Springboard regular collectors, so thank you for your continuing support.
- Karen's Homemade Jewellery is on sale at Weston and Clevedon and so far this has raised just under £50.Fantastic.
- Two Weston families have been very generous recently, with donations of £363 and £900 respectively. Thanks to both families for their tireless fundraising and support.
- Smaller donations have mounted up too with £30 coming from various families.
January 2012 - Well our year of being Bristol Airport's charity has drawn to and end and we will soon be able to confirm the final total raised. It has been a fantastic year having the link with the airport and thanks to their staff teams for their support, generosity and encouragement. The super Santa Flight was the icing on a very special cake and Springboard children were so fortunate to have been given such an opportunity. It's been a very interesting and rewarding experience and we are so thankful to all of the volunteers for their help. More news soon.
