Our Weston service began life as an outreach project in 1995 and has been been highly successful in meeting the needs of children and families from Weston and the surrounding areas. The sessions were run from a selection of church halls and community centres across Weston super Mare.

In our Weston Centre, we are part of a large Children's Centre and although we have our own dedicated playrooms, we also share some of the facilities with children from two reception classes and Ashcombe Nursery.

The Centre was built in 2006 and Springboard were part of the team in designing and planning the Centre. Once again we raised £250,000 from charitable trusts towards the capital costs of the building and for equipment.  

Facilities at Weston have all the usual play activities and equipment and include a large playroom; a sensory room; a soft-play room with a ball pool; a shared kitchen; a parents' room; accessible toilets with a large changing table and a shower; not forgetting the all important storage.

Shared facilities include a large indoor/outdoor play area with a sand pit and equipment; an office and meeting rooms. We also have a large garden and outdoor play area with a built-in slide.

At both our Centres we have specialist seating to enable all children to have access to the play activities.

We are now open for 8 sessions per week plus a Stay & Play session.

We provide the following Play Sessions:
Mornings: Tues, Weds, Thurs and Fri
Afternoons: Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri

Stay & Play: Monday 9.15-11.15
