Inclusion and Link Programme
North Somerset Early Years' Team, in conjunction with Springboard Opportunity Group, are committed to enabling all children to access the provision of their local community preschool or Early Years provider of their parents’/carers’ choice.
All children deserve the opportunity to grow, learn and thrive in an environment in which they feel safe, comfortable and happy.
For some children, the Early Years' settings need additional provision in the form of special equipment or training or a higher adult:child ratio, to ensure that their early years can form a firm foundation for all their future learning.
The Early Years' Team and Springboard have put together a package of support which is available at different levels dependent on the needs of the child.

Inclusion Link Programme
The Inclusion Link Programme is to support children with additional needs to have the best possible start to school life through a smooth, supported and effective transfer from pre-school to school.
Promoting positive partnership working between parents/carers, pre-school setting, schools and other professionals/agencies.
Tapping into the knowledge and expertise of the child’s parents / carers to inform school entry planning / transfer to school.
Tapping into the knowledge and expertise of the child’s pre-school setting to inform school entry planning / transfer to school.
Facilitating information sharing to support an effective and smooth transfer from pre-school to school
