As a charity, Springboard Opportunity Group relies on the generosity of individual donors to help it support local children.
Springboard Opportunity Group is the only organisation of its kind in North Somerset. Since we were formed by a small group of local Mums in 1986, we have worked with hundreds of children and families across the county.
Our work is a lifeline for children and families; but providing specialist support, often on a one-to-one basis, is costly.
We need to raise over £1000 a day to maintain our vital services.
We simply couldn't keep going without our local supporters, fundraisers and the generous people who remember us in their wills.
By remembering us in YOUR will, YOU can help us give young children with additional needs the best possible start in life.
Leaving a legacy - it's easier than you might think.
Naturally, you will want to provide for your family and loved ones. However, once you’ve taken care of them, you may wish to leave a gift to a local charity, such as Springboard Opportunity Group.
Of course, your gift will mean more than just the items and services we can buy with it. Your legacy will help provide loving care and emotional support to those who really need it.
Q: How do I make a Will?
A: Making a Will is straightforward and relatively inexpensive, and ensures your estate will be shared out according to your wishes. If you don’t have a Will, your local solicitor or legal advisor will be able to explain how to go about making one.Q: I already have a Will but would like to add a gift to Springboard
A: If you would like to add a gift to Springboard Opportunity Group to your existing Will, all you have to do is ask your solicitor to add a “codicil” to that effect, stating how much you would like to leave.
**And remember: All gifts left to charities are exempt from inheritance tax.**
