January 2012 - Well our year of being Bristol Airport's charity has drawn to and end and we will soon be able to confirm the final total raised. It has been a fantastic year having the link with the airport and thanks to their staff teams for their support, generosity and encouragement. The super Santa Flight was the icing on a very special cake and Springboard children were so fortunate to have been given such an opportunity. It's been a very interesting and rewarding experience and we are so thankful to all of the volunteers for their help. More news soon.
September 2011 - Bristol Airport collections are continuing until December, so these last fews months could make a real difference to our final total. Currently Springboard collectors have raised £3,500, with Bristol Airport tins and their staff teams making £8,700; so we are just over the £12k level. Total hours volunteered so far is 132, with a dedicated group of regular volunteers making up the majority. Please do sign up for a shift or two; every little really DOES help!
Snowdon Climb: Lisa French, the Terminal Duty Manager at Bristol Airport and a group of colleagues have organised a sponsored climb up Snowdon , now taking place in April 2012 to raise funds for Springboard. Lisa will have a Justgiving page soon as well and we will keep you posted.
August 2011 - More great news, Springboard has been successful in securing a second Big Lottery Fund Reaching Communities grant of £135,724 to help fund our family support service.The grant is for three years and will help us to continue and consolidate the servicess that we have to offer families.
May 2011 - BBC Children in Need have given Springboard a grant of just over £21,000 to fund Holiday Stay & Play sessions for three years.This is fantastic news and we will be starting the sessions this summer.
