All staff working with the children have appropriate Childcare and First Aid qualifications. They also have a range of relevant special needs qualifications and many have years of experience in this field and all have received training in Makaton, the key word signing and symbols scheme.
We involve many volunteers who receive training and support. Volunteers are a valued and essential part of our team.
Our adult to child ratios are 1:3 for all children. The ratio may be higher depending on the individual needs of a child and will be adjusted accordingly.
All our staff and volunteers have received clearance by the Criminal Records Bureau and are deemed suitable to work with children.
