Inclusion Service

Most parents are keen for their child to have the same opportunities as others. Children with additional needs may require extra help to make the most of the opportunity of attending their local pre school. We may be able to offer support by providing a trained Springboard Support Assistant for up to two sessions per week, for those children who need it.

We also offer support and advice to pre school staff in all settings across North Somerset.

This service was set up in 1997 as a direct response to an identified need in the North Somerset Daycare Review in 1996. It proved to be a great success and is still providing a valuable service to the children and their families. It is highly regarded by both users and our partners in the pre schools we work with.

We provide 34 sessions per week covering a range of pre school settings across North Somerset.
